PULSE started as an experiment: how far can a static Astro store go before it needs a framework? The answer turned into a full commerce architecture — faceted V2 filters, predictive search, dynamic mega menus and a cart-to-order flow, all in pure HTML.

Three concept stores ship in one codebase — CyberPulse for high-performance audio and cybernetic hardware, Nocturne Atelier for avant-garde dystopian techwear, and Synapse Biotics for bio-hacking and wellness instruments. Every pixel is engineered to feel premium in the dark and fast on every device.

How the integration works

Astro 5 renders every route statically. The data layer runs once at build time and ships pure HTML with zero client framework.
One JSON catalog powers all three stores today; point the commerce adapter at the Shopify Storefront API and the same pages rebuild from live products.
Checkout stays on your provider. The cart lives in the browser and hands off to hosted, PCI-compliant checkout at the final step.
Static output deploys to Cloudflare Pages in seconds and runs comfortably on the free tier.
